Picture Frames
I want to be able to hang
your picture on all my walls
Of my office of employment,
my living room, my bedroom
Even the mirrors of the
bathrooms and hallways
I want you face there like a
reflection that anyone who knows me knows
That you are part of this
construction beyond surfaces and purposes
That times shared and
written, pictured in positions of you and I
And those times painted out
in pixels and frames
That those who know, know
your name
Affixed to me as sure as the
sunrise coming in that
Darkest absence of warmth before
the dawn
You have come and come along
to imprint your face
Into every looking glass that
I own
That you are my picture
reflecting
In every way and wall of my
home
