A Thought in Winter

I kind of like to sit in a cold house with the thermostat set low. 

It makes me think of people under interstate overpasses and

the lyrics to Like a Rolling Stone.   

When I hear the heat clicking on and invading out the air vent,

I feel less human. 

I would rather put on a jacket or grab a blanket. 

Does anyone else’s heater make them feel like and asshole?
