2) Fear: The Meme: What and Why We Are

2) Fear
[You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.]
{You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.}

9
Fear breeds an external nexus of motivation to operate based on punishment rather than internal volition.  Under commandment one, we discussed the macroeconomic global marketplace in the industries of public safety, healthcare, and energy to illuminate how the lack of love is a prerequisite for control.  Fear pits middle class against lower class and sections of each against each other.

Upper societies and states are inflated by public safety budgets of police, military, and prisons which profit from recidivism rather than reformation.  Components are paid based on beds filled.  Judges are in league with payment streams as more bodies passing through courtrooms equates to greater necessity and permanence.  The military industrial complex engorges itself in a similar respect.  The greatest food to such a beast is fear.  Profit from this fear is created in the deflationary constraints on labor prices sifting the excess into corporate coffers.  Desperation from un-living wages fosters purposelessness, particularly in males.  Purposelessness funnels more ‘criminals’ into such systems.

Middle Class-suburban flight in America is linked to minds contemplating the appearance of theoretical and actual threats of violence and chaos.  Theft, murder, rape, and assault spiral with the absence of self-interested property owners representing a threshold of similar parties lost given societal breakdown.  If a person owns a home and a threshold of assets, the individual is invested so that the avenue of criminal enterprise bears a more substantial countermeasure of loss beyond potential incarceration than a man with nothing to lose when he or she debates engagement.  The Meme encourages huge swaths of dependence absent such personal equity.  This leaves barrier islands un-rooted for the perpetual hurricanes to churn poverty into a generational constant across the entire populace.

A middle and lower-middle-class threshold of assets is why the current for-profit American private health insurance market continues.  The fear and reality of bankruptcy of the assets inside this threshold to a typically healthy human who might go to a doctor once or twice a year is an unacceptable loss.  Middle-class America supports the current system absent envisioning another paradigm as possible.  The healthcare system is split into triple subdivisions of the Poor who are either in a governmental or non-system left to sickness, the Middle Class who fund it through both private premiums and taxes, and the Upper Class who profit from the exploitation flowing into stock prices.

The Upper Class also has the assurance of being able to buy into sufficient healthcare when deemed pertinent with low proportional health risk to override the greatest flaws in the system: linking access to health care to wealth and the higher costs as a profit engine for wealth.  The Meme markets the idea of stolen choice to the middle and upper-middle as false pitfalls of a universal system.  The pitfall is that the choice indicated does not exist in the current system either and that more choices might be possible if all systems were linked.  The Meme wants us to cling to our threshold of assets as if we do not participate or benefit in a collective.

Humans observe and congregate in segregated alcoves of land in commensurate thresholds of perceived investment in reaction to these fears.  This regulates most property valuations.  This is normal to a degree, where it is linked to actual rather than theoretical threats.  At times panic can cause humans to become xenophobes.  This waving fear between false-assumption and fact is at the root of the second commandment.

10
Within the same linkage, easily-farmed drugs spread by the sun’s energy: marijuana, cocaine, and heroin are prohibited and controlled by strict government criminalization.  This prohibition, like that of alcohol before it, breeds poverty, violence, and dependency.  Free legalization would do the opposite.  Censorship typically serves the Meme.  Censorship keeps things as they are and impedes the inertia to change.

Marijuana being so easily grown could be as ubiquitous in American yards as centipede or St. Augustine.  The results of such a reality is that the vast majority of even slightly energetic consumers of cannabis could grow their supply and share or sell the excess at a fraction of the current street price.  The profit potential would be severed to a significant measure through an explosion in supply.  The risk has never been health; it is anarchy.  Hemp is also a huge threat to the oil, fabric, agriculture, and chemical industries established inside the Meme by providing a cheaper and often more effective sun-based alternative which threatens profits.

Addiction is titled as the grand vice to validate the drug war.  Addiction to drugs, particularly crack, correlates with poverty.  However, the appearance of addiction in this environment is also a function of alternative options.  Marijuana and cocaine, like alcohol, allow humans to make cost-benefit analysis for the pleasure and destruction from the brain chemicals released from the drug compared to alternative activities such as participating in gainful employment.

The Meme wants to perpetuate the idea that drug addiction is insurmountable because this premise weakens the power of human volition.  The Meme’s nemesis is volition.  Addiction can be a treadmill in a cage.  Run too long equals no sober and no high.  We avoid addressing the self.  We stare straight into a substance we layer on top the self: drug, gambling, sex, food, pity.  The stuff grins at us in darkness at how we fucked ourselves by initiating a virus of addiction, centerless inside a cage full of claw marks.  The heroin needle, the deck of cards, the plate of gristle was never the problem; addressing the choice beneath the addiction, beneath the self is.  The path out of addiction is loving our being underneath the addiction and its often irreversible biological alterations and seeing our being as interconnected, worthy, and choosing participatory behavior in the communal universe exclusive of the addiction.  This is why therapy, kindness, love, and empathy are the true roots of sobriety.

Drugs can kill, be toxic, or have variable consequences based on the users biological genetic reaction, but so can drinking bleach.  People choose.  Some states are irreversible.  So often sobriety is a process only sustainable through monastic-type abstinence.  Educated informed humans are more likely to make healthier choices with volition trumping prohibition in public policy with the economics of sun-based drugs.  Certainly the disease of addiction is real from biological deteriorations that occur to dopamine and serotonin responses produced by drugs, but there is a balance of the human body which the “war on drugs” and the Meme purposely ignore to establish an attack on volition and science to distance us from empathy.

Addiction whether it is gambling, sex, or alcohol, etc. is a balance between brain chemicals and volition.  The Meme wishes to install excuses to distance consequence from volition.  Neural domino-chains indemnify humans from asserting internal fortitude.  Conquering addiction might also topple the Meme.  This so often ignores the initial choice that started the fire.

Some people choose death over sobriety, but it is nonetheless a choice.  In some ways it is an extension of the fire-starter choice.  A single decision can murder another.  So in the delayed extrapolating ticking bomb nature of addiction if viewed by the Meme as insurmountable can also murder the volition of the self.  The anti-Meme puts the power into the volition not into if we will live, not into if we can get off the smack, but in how we try, how we suffer, how we choose.

Ending prohibition would diminish public safety budgets.  The theoretical danger to society of such substances far exceeds the actual dangers created from the prohibition which is where the bullets and tax fraud occurs.  The culture of theists is best served in preserving the cultivation of fearful hegemony in a security state akin to the omnipresent-eye monitoring drug culture.

Drugs often breed out-of-the-box thinking.  Drugs shed oneself of the fundamental paradigms of society used to cloud why people created fundamentalist forms of religion.  Drugs do not bring grand intelligence or often productive thinkers, but drugs may slip off irrationality from the indoctrinated.  Drugs have a wide-range of potential horrid side-effects depending on the human.  Consequences from hydrochloric acid disfigurement in the production of Meth, alcoholic automobile wrecks, to the psychotropic chaos of leaping out windows from simple pot are possible.

The war of drugs is about the Meme asserting authority in an arena where a human could grow a plant, smoke and be happy and not participate in or abide to the forced order of society.  Non-participation threatens the Meme’s root (E.g. cooperative survival over solitary subsistence).  The drug war has never been about health or death.  The Meme does not care about bodies, only order.  The idea that most drug violence is related to access to profit-producing avenues like locations or connections (turfs) in an economic sense speaks volumes.

11
The Poor-man with nothing to lose represents a step closer to the animal within us.  He is the character of the eat-or-be-eaten inside each of us from which we are running.  This is the primary reason the throngs of Poor are treated as such on a global level.  The Poor are attributed self-induced problems rather than systematic ones at most intervals of conservative discourse.

There is always a balance of individual volition and systematic causation.  To untangle the two is at the heart of common modern-American Democratic and Republic debates.  Faith sides on non-investigation of the system and points to the volition of the individual as causing his or her plight.  This is one reason why racism and the belief that racism does not exist at significant levels are more likely to be held by a theist than an atheist.

Millions of Poor are incarcerated for drug related offenses in a cattle-yard of taxpayer-funded prison beds.  This begs the question why do so many poor Americans enter the supply-side of drug culture; the answer is overwhelmingly economics rather than the demand-side addiction.  Economic avenues allow humans to trade a fraction of the sun’s energy for ten thousand dollars in Peru, to thirty thousand dollars in Mexico, into a hundred thousand dollars in Chicago.  If prohibition ended, the linkage from the Peruvian farmer trying to feed her family and the gentleman being booked in Illinois would shatter.  In its place would be two humans subject to and awarded with greater legal self-sufficiency.

The criminalization of sun-based drugs makes drug cartels the surrogate legislative bodies of Central and South American countries.  Look at the murders of politicians in Mexico.  Elected officials are bought by the cartels or killed.  The masses suffer and light candles with Maria on the graves of the dead.  Look at gangs stopping highway traffic and murdering bus drivers in El Salvador to retain bribes.

The hierarchy of god cannot control the sun.  Therefore such drugs are criminalized.  Complex chemical pharmaceuticals far more difficult for the average human to recreate are sanctified behind the immaculate shield of corporate culture, research and a stock ticker.  Just because fresh water is available in any lake or rain cloud does not stop corporations from Nestle to Coca Cola from trying to sell humans bottled water.  Hell as George Carlin pointed out Evian is naïve spelled backwards.

If marijuana were legalized in America to a broad enough extent, people would grow weed themselves.  The same is true for the opium farmers in Afghanistan, the coca farmers in Columbia, and the marijuana farmers in Mexico.  Violent cartels could be substantially cut out or at least operate with less violence through ‘legal’ avenues.  Corporations would and have attempted to brand particular ‘better’ iterations of such substances, but the overall profit-potential for such industries would be hampered by the continual abundant supply the sun represents and a reduced ability to repress the Poor.

This lack of profiteering is a Meme no-go.  Therefore the greater Meme-profit has been in the restriction and demonization of the products, the users and the marketers distributing the substances.  Doing so creates a priest-sinner profit dynamic.  The priest enjoys the presence of sinners, as without sinners the priest would be out of business.

Public safety budgets, police officers, homeland security, the military, the FBI, and CIA all benefit by the presence of criminalized drug dealers.  Public safety organizations are rewarded grants and often retain the preponderance of assets seized whether convictions occur or not.  President Nixon claimed to implement the American war on drugs to shroud the devil-like connotations of drugs as organic as marijuana.  Aside from garnering votes; the war on drugs is to control chaos.  Hippies, returning Vietnam veterans, the Beatles and free thinking represent chaos to the Meme.  Jai Guru Deva Om

In Poor foreign countries the U.S. drug policy fumigates arable land disrupting the generational knowledge of Poor family farmers redirecting Poor into consumer-dependency in slums.  This causes health and environmental problems the Meme ignores.  This clears swaths of Poor from mountains and forests to allow foreign corporations to come in and extract natural resources like coal or copper.

Domestically the dubbed-criminal activities enlarge public-safety components numbers, power, and the centrality of fear-mongers to communicate their message and manipulate, monitor, and extract greater taxes and tithes from society which dwarf the commensurate profit private corporations could demand if they were to attempt to sell such sun-based drugs on the free market.

In turn private corporations turn to more sophisticated pharmaceuticals to address many of the same biological issues humans choose to imbibe the sun-based drugs: depression, boredom, dopamine release etc.  We can have Paxil and Viagra commercials blanketing the nightly news but if replaced with Pfizer’s cannabis the unabashed effrontery to the audience of what was actually transpiring would be that bit more brazen arousing elevated suspicions.  The mixed message by the Meme would threaten the system and risk people seeing the Meme.

This is why the American government tries to burn fields of drugs across the globe.  Buying opium from the Afghan farmers to win their support while simultaneously disrupting the Taliban’s primary income stream would be too dangerous to the underlying memes.  We burn the fields to ward off the greater chaos of the world caused if Americans contemplated why a purchase-program process was so effective.  (What costs more two years of opium purchases in Afghanistan or fighter jets?)

[Per the wonderful internet Lockhead Martin’s F-22 had a program cost of $66.7 billion or $150 million per aircraft.  Original budget was 750 for the Airforce at $26.2 billion in 1994.  In 2006 183 F-22’s re-estimated to $62 billion.  In 2006, Government Accountability Office estimated $361 million per aircraft, by 2012 estimate $412 million per aircraft.

Boeing’s FA-18 Super Hornet looks like a steal at $60 million per aircraft.  Think stock-owners hear a cash register when a pilot gets shot down or crashes during a training exercise?  Don’t even get into the maintenance, fuel, and training costs.  America could build a new Veterans Administration hospital, even with those overruns around $600 million or we could have one and half F-22’s.  These are the priorities of the Meme.]

Doing so would shine light on the fallacies of the global drug war and with it risk fundamentalist religion and the military industrial complex.  The criminalization of drugs is like a cancerous tumor winding its tentacles through the organs of our super-organism’s body.  To rip it away, even from America, would cascade a level of potential chaos across the planet that risks the empowered slipping out of power or utter anarchy of thought, politics, and economics.  If not done carefully, specifically, and to address what the drug war actually is we may do more harm than good.  We would require suitable substitute well-communicated mechanisms instituted to facilitate the resulting form of society our super-organism would inherit.

Decriminalization is possible, but we should understand the reason the world is not up in arms to decriminalize sun-based drugs is the preservation of the Meme.  Murders, larceny, tax-losses (excess spending and reduced revenue) are not the reason we criminalize.  They are the collateral damage we choose to endure to avoid the risk of the greater danger of disorder (entropy) and preserve an illusion of justice.

The war on drugs, but particularly sun-based drugs is because the sun’s energy uncontrolled by the Meme represents anarchy.  So the Meme reacts the same way to a solar panel as it does marijuana.  A bicycle is anarchy.  Death with dignity is anarchy.  Diet before pharmacology is anarchy.  Free internet college courses for recognized national certifications is anarchy.  Unbranded education is anarchy.   Gardens before lawns is anarchy.  Drinking just water is anarchy.  Recognizing the danger of consolidated wealth is anarchy.  Love for no reason is anarchy.

Theists are less likely to see addiction as a medical problem compared to a criminal issue.  Theists under the Ten Commandments are taught to obey absolute authority.  Under this line of thinking, humans absent a law forbidding a practice would indulge and engage in any practice independent of the volition to determine if the practice was good or bad on themselves or others.  Theists are therefore more Draconian, litigious, and concerned with sentencing in trials, sensationalism, and vengeance.  Theists are more likely to make celebrities out of a specific ‘victim’ while ignoring the complexities of systematic injustice.  Partitioning volition to shift rationale for choice from an external law to an internal compass threatens theism.

If the overwhelming majority of humans could lead healthy productive lives, despite these substances being regulated rather than criminal like in Portugal then like alcohol before it, the necessity of god, holy books, and fundamentalist religious law become more obsolete in light of such social libertarianism.  (How much did theists protest the devils of alcohol in the 1920’s?)  If the fear of prosecution and incarceration is removed how can a theist have a moral code?

The second commandment forbids the utterance of god’s name in a derogatory manner.  The omnipresent god will instantaneously detect the idea forming and find the individual culpable as the larynx vibrates to sound the initial syllable.  The deed is done.  The commandment violated so quickly instills mind-control and a surveillance-state in one swoop.  Orwell’s thought police are installed.  The head-cage of rats is crowned.  From McCarthyism to 1984 to the Nazi’s to Guantanamo Bay to the Arabian Peninsula, the idea of thought-crime shreds the Magna Carta and boils the pit of fear inside the Meme.

This monitoring instills an even greater indignity in one’s assumption that the images and thoughts netted by god will bring about a common referendum of justice from the wrong-doing of others.  This is the chimeric-guardian of human oppressors hedging exploitation in the minds of the enslaved and functionally enslaved to see perdition as the future of the blatant evil doers.

Hitler, Hussein, Bin Laden and Pol Pot burn on one wing; bank, energy, and pharmaceutical company presidents fry in another.  Some would argue Dick Cheney and his Darth Vader taxpayer-funded heart will be included.  That requires usurping a Western bias, but ultimately whatever assumptions of god’s vengeance for the volition of man, the result is the same.

This assurance is false.  The very digestion of this lack of consequence often prompts a figuratively nauseated public discourse into qualms over why am I doing this then?  Why do I abide?  How can these mother fuckers get away with this?  Please tell me they are going to burn in hell!  Why do I show up for work each day?  Why do I not go on strike or start hurling bricks through windows when I work sixty hours a week for a pittance and cannot still feed my family without state-based assistance or period, can’t feed us and we are starving.  Where is my god-damn head on a spit?  Where is my god?  Am I toiling for a heavenly pension that will never be repaid?

My kid is not fed, but at least I have a moral high ground!  There has to be a reason for this war!  There has to be some good that will come out of it!  We have to be in Vietnam, Germany, the Philippines, the Falkland’s, Iraq, Kosovo, Afghanistan etc. for a reason!  Peace, freedom, helping humans, preventing more deaths than we cause, at least of our citizens; these are the reason Einstein wrote Roosevelt and aided the path to the nuclear bomb.  Nazis!  Manhattan Project!  Oppenheimer was not alone.  Why two bombs: Nagasaki three days after Hiroshima if using the weapon was to end all future use to prove a point?  Madmen exist and they will be punished!  At least give me this comfort.  The second commandment provides this comfort through fear.

12
Once one fears that the over-arching god is watching and seeing all, comfortable synthetic justice is installed.  The current hierarchy of society functions.  The Poor tithe to churches, mosques, temples, and synagogues etc. placating in theatrical roles of humility at various intervals in order to achieve the better envisioned end of this brand of justice.  To some this is done out of fear; to most this is done out of an inherent goodness innate to humanity.

The individual would have chosen to be a good person and a similar morality independent of being a particular brand of theist or an atheist.  Religion often buries this reality as it is a significant adversarial threat to the perpetuation of the Meme.  Under religion god is the font of morality.  Without comprehension, threat, or instruction from god humanity would engage in wanton debauchery.

This is where the lie spins into truth like an inverted dream image.  Religion is one of the primary tools of humans mitigating the chances at such chaos, but this is not god, but the concept of what god represents.  We use religion in our superego to bury this truth in our id through our societal super-structures.

This is subconsciously why so much of the Earth’s population is religious.  Not to worship a real god, but to mitigate this internal risk of what we are capable.  So for centuries people have created god after god to assuage this fearful concern of man killing man capriciously like beasts.

Therefore the church, synagogue, mosque, or temple is lying to the follower on the surface, but the person believes the idea as truth because the idea is answering the internal craving.  The human mind is hungering to be satiated that animal-eats-animal is banned in humans in our superego, but our id will not allow us to accept this untruth.  Our id knows dog-eat-dog is not only continually possible, but at times craves to act on this impulse in frustration and anger.

The key to acceptance is to control the fear in a divergent open avenue by accepting our vulnerability to other humans and our universal environment.  This has little to do with Zeus watching us and hurling lightning bolts.  This has to do with individual volition overcoming fear of the other and choosing love in a perpetual prisoner’s dilemma with every other human.

In response to this fear humans label certain terms, characters, institutions, and words sacred as off shoots from Commandment Three.  Nothing is sacred, absolutely nothing is beyond jest or ridicule in words.  Not Mohammed, not Jesus, not any government, flag or book.  Not any child, not sex, not rape, not sexuality, not gender, not race, not age, not economic status, not any one’s mother or father, no one, nothing is beyond satire, laughter, or criticism.  Free speech in the absolute is a test to the borders of the ego.

In America the Westboro Baptist Church protests human funerals with homophobic fundamentalist threats.  In Egypt Bassem Youseef hosted El-Bernameg to satirize the Muslim Brotherhood government to millions of viewers.  John Stewart hosts the Daily Show in America.  Bill Maher hosts Real Time.  Fox News exists.  The Ayatollah Khomeini issued a fatwa for Salman Rushdie’s death after The Satanic Verses.  The French publication Charlie Hebdo was attacked in 2011 and 2015, the later with a machine gun assault with a dozen dead under shouts of “Allahu akbar” from gunmen Said Kouachi and Cherif Kouachi later ‘connected’ by Western media to Al-Qaeda’s Nasser al-Wuhayshi bombed by a United States drone in Yemen.

The circle of violence attempting to drown the unspeakable must soak in love.  No matter the words, human empathy should prevail that the ego will not violate commandment five to enforce commandment two.  I will not kill; I will not rape; I will not commit physical violence; I will not enforce systematic persecution; I will not set the religion of my choice or its ‘teachings’ as mandatory for anyone else based on an ego’s insecurity.  These are the stances of the anti-Meme.

The anti-Meme says, “I do not know.  None of us do.  Laugh. ” A meal of cartoons with sodomy of Jesus and Mohammed licking each other’s flesh, a lynched African American with a mouth full of watermelon, Ronald Reagan slurping ghetto feces, Hitler taking bread out an oven, aborted fetuses in a pickle jar, Johnathon Swift writing of a fricasie or ragoust of the bodies of famished Irish babies, disgusting, offensive, sacrilege, or outrageous is not the point.  No one has to approve of the meal, but the meal must be allowed to be prepared as long as the ingredients in the meal do not harm beyond the mental.  There may be restriction of resources invested to market, spread, or endorse such speech.  People can choose to not listen or purchase.  Just as nothing can stop a single individual from choosing violence against such speech or for any other random reason, it is the sensitivity and insecurity of the ego allowing the self to be offended which is the universal challenge and in many ways the beautiful inside what may appear as ugly.

The anti-Meme finds freedom from the ego.  The anti-Meme detaches from the wanting to be right, to be associated with idea of something sacrosanct.  In such attachment we seek our ego’s immortality.  We want to believe if we defend the sacrosanct in this manner we are doing what will be blessed, what is good; we will be accepted and loved, included, in the common human drive to belong.  We want parental love, some through god.  We all want to be embraced, understood, and in this connected.

When we go down the tube where that bubble of “I am offended by that,” the anti-Meme analyzes what really just occurred.  We have felt our attachment to define our identity through what others think.  We are asked to question who we are, what we believe in.  In weakness some reassert with vengeance for having to do confront this psychological labor.

When this is done along religious grounds one may stare into the mathematics of contemplating whatever particular religion one deems the one sanctified truth is beyond criticism or defamation is the religion of a minority of the global population.  What is worse questioning or criticizing a prophet, god, or faith or practicing an entirely different faith with replacement prophets and gods?  Are all of these humans to suffer perdition or the wrath done to blasphemers or idolaters?  If the qur’an links Muhammed to curse his enemies, does that make a human of another faith an enemy?  What is an enemy; someone that speaks words or who actively assaults another?  What is an assault; embarrassment, insult, challenge?  Should not the secure in faith laugh off the questioning of that religion by others?

It should not matter if someone criticizes our appearance, religion, gender, race, family, or sexuality.  That criticism does not change our ability to accept who we are as worthy of love.  Certainly we can retort with Islam is love, black is beautiful, Pope Benedict XVI does not represent Catholicism, your perversion is a mask for pain; may you find healing through knowing you are worthy of love.  We may even tell someone to fuck off you fundamentalist asshole.  We may say this form of fundamentalism works for me, but I do not impose it upon others.  Individual volition is the key.

When criticism prompts systematic prejudice, infringements, injustice, lines may need to be crossed to counteract the political, economic, and social ramifications of that speech (e.g. the Palestinian West Bank, 1960’s Alabama).  However the line where combating that speech with violence is a tenable one grinding humanity into the lowest common denominator away from empathy.  In one so chooses one may see the vast majority of the great historical centerpieces of religion and poetry are based in love.  In this we see the anti-Meme in the hearts of Muhammed, Jesus, Buddha, Moses, and Krishna.  In this we see what we are capable.

It should not matter if someone criticizes our empirically proven mathematics or science.  People can damn Euclid’s, Einstein’s, or Hawking’s theories as forms of apostasy to their beliefs.  What someone else says does not change truth.  Say the qur’an is pure truth or the bible the solemn truth.  It does not matter.  It does not matter if in the background of all life a certain religious belief is ‘valid’ and no one or someone believes them.  It does not matter that fundamental laws of physics and mathematics are valid and no one or someone acknowledges them.  The validity of any idea exists independent of how many or if anyone understands, is aware of, or invests faith or agreement with the idea.

None of it matters because those ‘truths’ do not need others to behave differently.  Only the ego demands others go along with what we believe or what we through the ego act in the place of the god envision to bring about that god’s ‘will’.  We can expose others to our religion or science.  The volition of the other is the independent crucible of discernment.  No mathematic or miracle of faith changes that.  The beauty of what volition is usurps such insecurity of the ego.

13
The Meme uses a banned set of curse words inside human languages as part of the dominion of the second commandment.  In English not only can we not utter god damn it or I hate god, but we have to add the words straight from George Carlin’s routine: shit, piss, fuck, cunt, cocksucker, motherfucker, and tits.  Other words include asshole and bitch.  America has the Federal Communications Commission regulations for public broadcasts to assert the Meme.

Most of these words are related to the human body or sex.  The Meme wants to repress our animal status.  Like in other prohibitions, the words are empowered by their forbiddances, particularly for adolescents.  The word fuck has become a ubiquitous nuclear weapon of speech to become all parts of speech and all-meaning.  Humans will taunt the Meme, by inserting fuck in all sections of a sentence to convey aggression, intensity, and contrarianism in lieu of a more apt lexicon.

In doing so the Meme loses an asset of control.  If the Meme can create a vocabulary list of unspeakable words then these words can be used as social identifiers to classify and segregate humans like with race, gender, or fashion.  This creates order.  If the words are widely used and mocked as feckless, entropy occurs in the vernacular and the Meme weakens.

The Meme restricts discussion of body parts.  The Meme will even prompt grown adults to giggle in the presence of biological frankness.  The age at which children in the Meme are told about sexual reproduction is glossed over as the birds and the bees in a hidden discourse.  Followers of the Meme often find embarrassment and awkwardness.  Some parents never have the talk, and assume kids will just figure it out.  The anti-Meme is like Holland with tiered encompassing sexuality education that starts as young as kindergarten and focuses on human relationships and the internal contemplations of love.  The Meme is abstinence, the repression of sexuality, and the denial of homosexuality.  The anti-Meme is the proper name for body parts, how to say ask or say no, and how to navigate a human body and heart.  Scientific results in reducing teen pregnancy, STD’s, and abuse all favor the anti-Meme.

For the Meme this creates an irrational verbal abstinence to mirror the physical.  If humans do not speak of reproductive sex then the animalistic connections to sex do not exist.  Meme mothers may tell their daughters keep it closed and do not talk about it, if mentioning anything.

This parallels the part of the Meme that humans speak of god therefore god exists.  Humans teach each other to understand the acceptable forms of make-believe appropriate for public discourse as long as specificities are avoided.  This disinclination of specificities travels towards sex and our bodies.  If humans engage in frank, realistic discourse about our bodies we will inevitably get to the role of gametes forming full cells, deoxyribonucleic acid chains, the folly of the virgin birth, creationism, and all manner of historical conjecture born of holy-books.  These are spawned from a combination of scientific ignorance, patriarchy, and a beguiled public inside the Meme.

We hide our animal status.  Some of us get windows of our best thinking done on the toilet.  We take a moment in the bathroom to regroup.  We feel increased privacy that we can be vulnerable where we defecate.  We may go with a girlfriend and talk.  We may have that conversation in our head while on the toilet.  We get that good bit of thinking done away from the chaos out of the pit for two minutes as our body is that increased bit more vulnerable.

We all go there.  We seek it, just that indulgent return to that basic function of our bodies, peeling the modern rush back and sometimes our insides burst.  Kriya yoga meditation operates as a grand extension of that principle. We may cantillate a mantra, but in the quiet is the substance.  The Meme burns in that silence, so the Meme puts god in there to listen and talk back in the ego’s interpretation of the present.

14
We are taught to monitor fear through ridiculous precautionary rituals like prayer and the phrase, “god bless you” after sneezes.  Modern humans do not even contemplate past the automatic utterance after their respiratory spasm catapults mucus.  We veil the Meme’s assertion in a phrase bearing origin in the idea that a demon cranks our maw and powers inside our skull during the vulnerability of a sneeze.

The counter-curse is echoed from bystanders as if one is risking perdition to dare sneeze in solitary.  The Meme teaches us in this way that blessings are weapons.  It also publically asserts itself and identifies those commiserating.  One of the most glaring anti-Meme acts a person can do is to refuse to say “bless you” or to insert an equally ridiculous retort of “sneeze time” or a sardonic “demon be gone.”  There is nary a colloquial phrase on this planet that does not include a deity in response to sneezing.

Eructation, flatulence, laughter, and queefing are absent such boomerang responses.  This shows the phrase is about making the fears we have as humans fade so that the overt control in the foreground of the Meme looks normal.  This shows how weak the Meme is to continue a franchise on the foundation of human politeness.

Politeness is in itself a function of the Meme.  It is a way of demonstrating social report and customs in a public setting to convey, “I am not an animal.  I said hello.  I asked you how you are doing; therefore I will not stab you in the neck, kill you, rape your mate, and take your harvest.”  (A blank stare is the anti-Meme.)  These are false assurances as the duplicity of humanity is a potential constant, but the social structures surrounding it inside the Meme are part of the power of the Meme to veil our violent animal nature.
15
Country after country has installed various misogynist, racist, and oppressive regimes to protect the Meme.  America, as the world’s current empire, has assisted the implementation of many tyrants while purporting to the opposite. In the process the U.S. has created many of the world’s drug cartels: training the Kaibiles in Guatemala, backing Jorge Rafael Videla and Reynaldo Bignone in Argentina, supporting the coup of Joao Goulart in Brazil, the contras against the Marxist Sandinista government in Nicaragua, funding the Columbian military and intelligence service, the overflow of the Guatemalan government in 1964, backing the Salvadoran military in the 1980s, invading Haiti in 1915 and 1994, backing Rafael Trujillo in the Dominican Republic, etc.

One can look at the U.S.’s support and then harboring Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the Shaw of Iran in 1979 as the Meme attempting to control another drug in oil.  The subsequent U.S. support of Saddam Hussein to invade Iran from Iraq soon after the hostage crisis and the cascading effects post 9/11/2001 are recurring cycles of the same control inside the Meme.

America has repressed revolutionary and socialist leaders across the globe: Fidel Castro in Cuba, Hugo Chavez in Venezuela, Salvador Allende in Chile, etc.  The U.S. embargo against Cuba is because Cuba is a testing ground petri dish that if Cuba could stand socialist than all of the Caribbean, South and Central America could catch the virus.  Economic sanctions like in Cuba, Iraq, and Iran perpetuate the regimes by punishing the people by hindering a middle class that might create domestic uprising.  Domestic uprising risks true democracy, which is chaos for the Meme in non-First-World countries.

The Meme wants to keep and use the ‘tyrant’ for marketing in the U.S. as an excuse to use the military and show why control is needed (i.e. there is someone to fear).  The very nature of potential free democracies is almost crippled to obliteration at the impetus because of the sabotaging double standard of democracy required by the Meme for the Poor of Third-World countries and the role of First-World countries.  (We will expand on this under Commandment Seven on stealing.)

Humans are taught to see the other through lenses of absolutism to perpetuate the Meme.  He is in that country and must be fine with the squalor.  She is happy making my shoes or cutting my sugar.  She is a whore for dressing that way.  He is a Jew.  I am black.  He was born into a slum because his greatest grandfather stole.  The wind speaks through the night sky when we light the fire.  Jesus is my personal savior.  Jesus and I have a deep unique relationship as I walk through life.

Americans burn the Qur’an.  Infidels urinate on our flag.  Water-board those bastards until they tell us what they know!  They are evil doers plotting.  Their machinations will blow up our children’s schools!  Our country will become like their country if we do not cross such lines!  Praise Allah/Jesus!

Force feed the hunger strikers.  Out right murder would be inhumane.  I was sitting at Starbucks and a man walked up and started shooting; the cappuccino spilled red.  The box cutters on the airplane hijacked Islam.  Once you walk into the square you will instantly be in paradise.  You will feel no pain.  You will not need the sacred funeral for your body splattered like jellyfish across the remnant infidels will be the most beloved.  Crusader, reclaim the city with a lion’s heart!

The demagoguery of pulpits fans such flames whether the other religion, nation, or alternate ethnicity as to the majority of their congregation is mentioned.  Tithers are washed in the absolutism of the preacher claiming to have the answer.  Any fundamentalist religion requires such absolutism to present the god whose name shall not be uttered in vain, as well as to set the religion proposed as superior to alternatives to validate say the ritualism of Islam over Hinduism.

Atheism does not claim such certainty, only an inherent morality founded in individual volition.  Atheists acknowledge that the id is correct.  (i.e. People could just move into anarchy at any moment, but the only thing stopping this is individual volition.)

For an atheist if for instance E=Mc2 ever gets expanded to include a variable for consciousness where in the realm of spirituality merges with the arena of science, this would not so much prove god, but reveal the reality of what we are on a level typically described in non-scientific variables.  Up to that point such a paradigm was not able to be empirically validated.  The Meme seeks no such union of ‘faith’ and science.  Fundamentalist religion seeks no such link because the Meme has disbursed certitude bearing no knowledge of such universal constants.

Atheists do not believe that something is unquestionable, even the potential existence of god or a universal interconnection through an unidentified variable we may at least on some level dub god.  An opinion has been formed, but this is not faith.  This is a deduction in the presence of evidence and a lack thereof.  Many atheists adhere to an internal code against lying, killing, theft and other abuses.  In the case of confronting a deity atheists would point to their moral adherence in spite the lack of dogmatic adherence.  That is of course if the idea of self or time was still pertinent.

An atheist’s lesser-viewed pertinence of ritual, if found equitable to morality in the view of such an insecure deity, would be contemptible and a validation of an atheist’s iteration of morality over that of a fundamentalist theist willing to kill, lie, or steal if god was believed to have commanded such actions.  The foundational allegory of Abraham being asked to kill his son Isaac is the ultimate global emblem of such a warped and tainted morality that is linked to the Earth’s three grandest monotheisms.  One is to kill without question.  One is not to request inspection of reward (heaven) or reason, just to obey with absolute respect.

The second commandment states the name must be held sacred and sanctified into a revered contextual prism so that no one dare glare at the lettering for prolonged periods without reverence in the way one must not stare directly at the sun.  Least of all is one allowed to speak such thoughts openly in public.

One day humanity may uncover a link inside the atomic to a spiritual plane.  Who knows what the monitored brain waves of a meditative yogi or a user of DMT really mean?  Maybe the concept of god as a constant spiritual universe operates on a paradigm beyond the atomic.  Maybe it interfaces with the atomic in a way beyond our comprehension?  We do not have to know, but if we are (everything is) all truly interconnected it would make much more sense if this operated in a paradigm like the nuclear, electromagnetic, or gravitational force by simply being, rather than an isolated command center type deity instructing.  To an atheist none of this is beyond questioning, let alone the name we put on something much more likely to be a component of the universe rather than a creator, overlord, or destroyer.

J.K. Rowling has captured a preponderance of the world’s attention in a veiled assault on theism, with the guileful insertion of wizards in Harry Potter.  Rowling juxtaposes hidden wizard-world imaginary inside reality.  Some theists spouted off at the wrong target in the series of novels at ridiculous insinuations of Satanism, witches, werewolves, vampires and other folklore as the threat to their flavor of theism.

Rowling stole a page from the theist playbook by inserting Christmas, absent any utterance of the birth of Jesus, consistently in the winter time of multiple novels.  Monotheists added Christmas trees to mask solstice festivals.  Rowling uses the word Christmas, the very same trees, and presents in a universe where the word Jesus or religion is never muttered.  This lets down the guard of the establishment so that parents across the globe will see the memes carried in the stories as non-threatening like fables of The Ant and the Grasshopper or The Emperor with No Close.  Rowling also hides the theism inside the wizards theme, which looks like Western-European lessons from WWII.

Rowling’s use of Christmas is reminiscent of Father Christmas’ presence in C.S. Lewis’ Narnia universe.  Lewis, who clearly inferred the Christ metaphor with the Easter resurrection of Aslan, used Santa like the Church does as an emissary.  Rowling’s gifts that magically appear coming from parents and not from Santa, despite it being Christmas, are striking in a child’s universe to present reality rather than the typical Christmas lie to a young audience.  The juxtaposition is subtle and brilliant.

What are some of the themes of Harry Potter?  The main character is a classic Christ metaphor, as in most Disney and European fairy tales before him.  Harry’s parents are murdered and he is orphaned.  Jesus is absent his true father/self in heaven.  Harry sacrifices himself for the good of the coalition and is resurrected.  In between he goes through trials and has a mark on his forehead akin to the crown of thorns.  He is famous across the wizard world (heaven), yet unknown in his own (Earth).  He is ridiculed in the press and goes on trial for helping people.  (Pontius Pilate/Passover.)

Harry Potter faces an advisory Voldemort which the other characters dare not say his name out of fear.  Harry says Voldemort’s name abruptly and consistently, as if unaware of the second commandment.  He finds the fear of annunciation ridiculous.  The others cringe in fear of the second commandment.  Harry teaches people that fear of the word only spreads fear of the thing itself and empowers it.

Voldemort is the darkest of dark wizards who used the cruciatus curse to torture his victims, the imperious curse for mind control and the avada kedavra curse to murder.  The three forbidden unforgivable curses are like mortal sins and a form of the Ten Commandments.  They are the hypocritical actions of the god-figure Voldemort represents.

A snake is always by Voldemort’s side.  He is part-snake to preserve a garden of Eden Satanic linkage.  This in many ways conveys that god and Satan are two parts of the same whole.  Rowling pokes holes in the same underlying untruth.

Voldemort’s followers believe in pure-wizard blood a la Hitler and various racist and religious cults, but in the base sense any fundamentalism including theist derivations.  To become human again Voldemort’s follower takes a blood sacrifice forcefully from Harry Potter and willingly from the follower.  Harry is held by a statue in a graveyard as if up on a crucifix as his blood is taken for this ritual.

This is a parallel to religious, conflict, combat, and war from everything from martyrdom to military service.  This shows the role of the good-soldier and the heathen advisory to be interchangeable to some degree once one usurps dogma and patriotism.  In a Christian vein this teaches humans to be Christ-like and sacrifice for the authority of the Meme.  Rowling exposes the danger in such sacrifices.

Voldemort has his form of Christ-like resurrection and a link to transubstantiation with the blood.  The character is almost impervious to death like Jesus.  His essence was trapped in objects like the Holy Spirit, which kept him from experiencing a true-death.  This mirrors concepts like sacred grounds, holy water, churches, amulets, Mecca, etc. where god is considered more present than a phone booth.

Voldemort calls his followers with dark-snake signs appearing in the sky after his resurrection.  The sign is an allusion to the swastika, which is a perverted crucifix, which is also stamped to his follower’s skin.  His death-eaters (apostle-metaphors) profess faith or explanations for non-faith in his return in a recreation of the Doubting-Thomas confrontation with Christ and a conceptual “second-coming” and how the average Christian would react to that question when proposed by Jesus.  Voldemort is quickly found out to be doubted, re-believed in, and ultimately found to be fraudulent as just another human behind his illusions.

Voldemort murdered Harry’s parents.  The two become spiritually bound.  Each can at times see the other’s thoughts.  This is like the second commandment, god is always watching.  Harry in the Jesus/human role to the Voldemort-Father does not understand this link fully.  Harry is the only person capable of stopping Voldemort’s conversion of the world into darkness.  Man and god are linked.

Rowling’s genius is the theist’s audience assumption that Voldemort is more the devil rather than the god in all of us.  Open-minded children reading the books, who should not be pressed to have a religion until maturity, may see the opposite as the message sinks in over their aging.  Ultimately the trinity of god/human/devil is merged in place of father/son/spirit.  The god/human//devil translates to volition. (I.e. Humans choose good or bad.  We are not absolutes.  We are all.)

Harry’s dead father resembles a Joseph character.  Harry has one mother.  Voldemort is a second father-figure.  Voldemort grants Harry greater powers through attempting to kill him.  Voldemort’s soul is split into multiple horocruxes to give Voldemort a quasi-eternal life, saving him from death as long as the object is not destroyed.  (I.e. God is eternal.)  A horocrux can only be created through an act of murder (a mortal sin).  Voldemort sought seven, the biblical god number.  The horocruxes include: a ring with the resurrection stone in it (a marital symbol holding a Christ symbol), a cup (a Holy Grail symbol), a locket (a religious totem akin to a crucifix), a diadem (a regal wealth symbol), a diary (a bible symbol), his snake (a satanic and sexual symbol), and the last is Harry (a Jesus as humanity symbol).

Voldemort lives in Harry the way the Father lives in Jesus and is further split like the Holy Spirit between the other symbols of the Church (gold, the chalice, the books, Satan etc.)  Voldemort entered Harry through the murder of his parents and Harry’s attempted murder.  (Herod attempted to murder Jesus soon after his birth.)  Harry was left with a forehead scar akin to the sign of the cross marked on a baby during baptism without the child’s choice.  When destroyed each of the horocruxes emits a dark spirit, the essence of Voldemort.  This is like the grip of the Meme (religion) inside humanity and these symbols of religions’ influence in our societies.  Ultimately we, like Harry, must accept death and choose to live and choose to remove such a taint living inside of us.  We must accept what we are and our common magic (divinity) that comes not from a grantor but innately through membership in the universe.

Rowling teaches the audience the danger of books in a book. A diary is possessed to instruct Harry’s future bride to commit heinous acts.  Books unveil dark secrets and wizards are taught to be wary.  In volume two, a handsome-faced braggart has beguiled the populace with wild false tales and found to be not only a fraud, but a cruel-hearted coward who eventually loses his mind. (I.e. a false prophet) Characters research in libraries discerning the value of good ideas from poor ideas based on verification and validity of the idea rather than rhetoric.

In the Tale of the Deathly Hollows folklore twists fable into reality with the story of the elder wand like a nuclear weapon which in the wrong hands could bring about the destruction of the wizard and human worlds.  Harry ultimately elects that when holding the nuclear wand to simply snap it and cast it aside.

17
The reader is taught to examine folklore and fables.  This is a direct assault on documents like the Bible and the Qur’an, although the author does well to refute such surreptitious motivations.  The reader is taught to question everything, to not simply trust what one reads in books.

The supporting protagonist and primary female character Hermione is a contrarian introvert probably modeled after Rowling herself.  She is ultra-intelligent, advanced and quick to point out the misguided superstitious notions of the Astrology-like predictions of the Divination teacher.  The glass balls and substandard version of hocus pocus are nonsense compared to the apotheosis of magic which is a metaphor for science and universal interconnection.

Hermione is constantly reading and appears ahead of her contemporaries based on her willingness to explore thought rather than merely accept the status quo.  The same heterodox character tries to initiate a labor strike and uprising of house elves in a parallel to both the nadir of the African American storyline and the indoctrination of menial laborers and the religious.  The elves only want to serve and cannot imagine what they would do with freedom like pew squatting masochists.  Hermione exemplifies the empowerment of females that is so often discouraged in the misogynist patriarchal themes of the bible and the qur’an.

The gray-bearded father-figure as head-master of the school, Dumbledore, is quietly gay in a parallel to a priest or clergy figure leading a religious school.  The homosexuality can also be seen as atheism.  The man is kind, but absent.  He leaves clues, but only direct help at the last minute, preferring the younger characters to think, investigate and figure out as much as they can on their own.  One does not become an atheist because one is instructed.  One chooses to become an atheist based on evidence or lack thereof and one’s personal internal digestion of the universe.

Dumbledore’s distance to allow Harry, Ron Weasley and Hermione to adventure and risk defeat on their own is an example of this comprehension and the absence of a theist’s interactive god.  Rowling keeps similar distance in that she does not spell out atheist and anti-Meme messages overtly.  Rowling allows those who wish to dive in to find it and others to merely see a world of entertaining wizards.

In the final Kings-Cross scene Harry communicates with deceased Dumbledore like the Saturday between Good Friday and Easter Sunday.  Dumbledore reiterates Harry’s choice and volition to go back or go on leaving the idea of an afterlife as an unknown and open ended.  Voldemort is seen as a weak tortured being clinging to mortality and assumption never understanding the power of love.  Harry chose his path.  This is mirrored in the epilogue of Harry and Jenny and Ron and Hermione shown as parents in a future Kings Cross station.

A religious character would be ready with specific-quick answers like Voldemort and the aptly named Dolores Umbrage.  The secret-atheist would not try to force an idea, but lay the bread crumbs.  If people choose to perk their interest in exploring, they can do so.  After that people can decide for themselves what makes the most sense for their life.  The idea of an afterlife is not crucial to the anti-Meme, only the choices we make in the present.

The Muggle (human) world is discussed with fascinating scientific contraptions humans use because humans do not have magic.  Thus science equates to the wizard’s magic.  Theist religion in the wizard world is in the dominion of the dark arts speaking of resurrection, horocruxes, and curses.  The message is clear that we are measured by our choices, not by our house of origin (nation or religion).  Wizards of other lands are asked to bond together in Rowling’s books and gender and race flow throughout characters inside the overlay of European-Caucasian pretense.  This is the universal interconnection of magic that can bridge the gap between the wizard houses of origin (a metaphor for religious sects.)

The Ministry of Magic serves as a gestapo-type governmental watchtower.  The ministry is aware of the smallest instance of underage magic, which in some ways serves as a parallel to premarital sex.  However it is not clear if the parallel is intentional by Rowling.  The act simulates god’s knowledge of the instance the penis meets vagina.  If the “infraction” occurs before the appropriate age wizards are reprimanded after seventeen such a magical act would be commonplace and permissible.

The wizards live in a world where there is a surrogate caste-system of pure-bloods, half-bloods, squibs, and muggles.  One’s fate is often tied to pre-birth criteria rather than volition.  Rowling counterbalances this status-quo through the power of volition.  This peaks in Harry Potter’s choice between being good or evil.  Harry’s communication with the sorting hat is key to his choice of individual path.

Magical creatures and beings like vampires, werewolves, and giants are outcasts like surrogate leaper colonies of pagans.  A werewolf-teacher presents lycanthropy as an AIDS parallel.  In the fifth book a centaur teacher (an anti-Meme symbol of a pagan) teaches the students that his priority was “not to teach the students what he knew, but rather to impress upon them that nothing, not even centaurs’ knowledge, was foolproof.”  The centaur comes from a dangerous forest such a native-American Cherokee.  (Centaurs also use bows and arrows.)  The centaur’s humility is anti-Meme.

Justice in trials are often kangaroo courts which send the innocent and the guilty to tortuous prison sentences like one of the main characters Sirius Black, Harry Potter’s godfather.  A paranoid ministry of magic is incapable of facing the reality of the return of Voldemort in book five.  This parallels the rise of Hitler in Europe or the return of fascism and a stupefied nation being in denial thereafter.

The Vatican like the Ministry of Magic in the books cosponsored and failed to deter fascism through commiseration and inaction as an equivalent to Voldemort’s brand of magic.  The Vatican acquiesced to Mussolini in Italy and made a treaty for the Catholic education of German children for concessions to Hitler on July 8, 1933.  This in part was due to a German Catholic church tax funneled to the Pope and the fiscal indemnity and profiteering of making the Vatican a separate untouchable country for the Church to preserve that wealth.  This linked trend of Catholicism-the Meme-and-fascism also bled in Spain, with General Franco’s La Crujada, Croatia, Hungary, Austria, and Portugal.  Also see the Action Francaise in France and General O’Duffy in Ireland.  These movements appeared to prefer fascism to communism or aligning with the Jewish-taint of Bolshevism.  This continued after WWII with the exportation of Nazi war criminals to South America to dictatorship countries as part of the Meme.  The idea of systematic injustice from a surveillance state government is a blatant assault on the Humans-are-not-Animals meme.

The glaring anti-Meme message of Harry Potter is that magic exists, but a god is never mentioned.  There is a gap of a wizard derivation of god.  We can be interconnected through a powerful form guided by our volition that is not god.  This void is the ultimate rebuttal to the Meme.  We all have magic in us; powerful and capable of beauty and horror bigger on the inside than we can fathom.  We choose.

18
We hide the idea from ourselves that human differences do not actually exist with the exception of what our memes instruct us to correlate with them.  National borders, names, languages, and religions are all manufactured arbitrary constructs to organize human society.  Complex aliens on other planets in other galaxies probably practice similar codifications under different iterations and create god or gods for similar reasons as humans.  The urge to do so is part of the psychological evolution of complex life.  Understanding god as a concept highlights the absurdity of applying specificity to god as a psychological device.  The paradigm that there may be a spiritual link between all existence is independent of the Meme’s societal organization utilizing a fundamentalist’s defined god as a substitute.

Ideas like racism, fundamentalism, homophobia, sexism, transphobia, and religion are less likely to continue in a species capable of recognizing why it created the Meme and effectively uses tools of global communication to eradicate the Meme.  A deeper level of empathy, understanding and love is possible.  Our collective doubt of the solidity of such a common-compassion pulls us back to the basic organisms from which we evolved.

These rudimentary beings will always be part of us, but to participate in our next stage of evolution we must recognize that the paradigm for evolution is far more mental or spiritual if you prefer, than physical.  For once we dare to enter such mental arenas we free ourselves to include the exponential power of selfless common interest of the species without the crippling interruptions that our current fear stemming from memes like the second commandment spread.

The hurdle is to understand that national identity fueling patriotism and religious persuasion fueling fundamentalism are entirely voluntary illusions meant to bring order from chaos.  Nation and religion are about who is in charge inside human society.  This is about who will submit to whom.  Our identification with any specific nation or religion is ego worship.

No one is watching to ensure that one actually be and perform the pantomime of flag or cross waving or civil rights along with them.  Fear has populated militaries and rabbled war-cries.  Fear of hell lurks behind every Pascal-wager gambled in minds willing to compromise killing, lying, theft, destruction of natural resources, and various violations of “commandments” in order to keep another group’s religious or patriotic dogma separate from their own.  This separation preserves the Meme’s dogma from question.

This is the true danger of the second commandment, humans are taught not to question.  Without questioning we truncate our evolution and decay.  We expedite our extinction.  Humanity’s global economic markets, divergent fundamentalisms, widening wealth gap, diminishing sustainability of our planet, and overall level of fear are glaring testaments to this process.

We should be getting closer by greater communication with the internet.  In many ways we are, as the internet is a major conduit of human uprising.  Unfortunately the same platform is used to spread the messages of not-questioning, of higher fundamentalism, of more zealous religiosity, the expansion of theatrical mega-congregations tithing billions from our tax bases, and non-empirical rhetoric juxtaposed against empirically validated science create the illusion of equivalence.

The internet threatens the Meme more than ever.  People are talking across the world at greater unfiltered levels.  Julian Assange is in exile. The Dark Net is home to pedophiles and jihadist recruiting.  Anonymous acts like a vigilante Batman hacking into the shadows to shut down what governments cannot accomplish.  Such darkness highlights the one realm of thought we inhabit and the importance of ideas over laws.  The Meme is panicking in unprecedented fundamentalist tantrums.

The inundation of counter-information the Meme produces in response can often drown minds requiring humans to break rank with the second commandment in order to survive.  We must question, read, investigate, and research between Woody Guthrie’s false and true in his Rubaiiyat echoing the Persian poetry that preceded it.  If we fear the very idea of saying a name, we fear the idea of questioning why it is wrong to criticize the name.  Thus we are expected to accept the name absolutely.  We are expected to accept authority absolutely.  We are expected to accept what those in positions of authority instruct us to do, think, and be absolutely.

If we can overcome this fear then we begin the true responsibility for our choices, actions, and beliefs from an internal culpability that does not answer to fear, but to the love and respect we have for a common life we share in our universe within the auspices of volition.
