20160312

I am not sure what to do with today.  Letting go; that is the message I am feeling.  There is a bravery to it.  I am challenged to muster, to breathe and be shed of what I cannot control.

I do not know anything but being in the now.  That there is no place to go, no time to pass, but to shed the mind and pain that comes with it.  All I can attempt is to try to pay attention about what to choose in the forks.  I am not moving only revealing, awakening to the vibrational waves of what we are.  I know there is a balance.

There is a balance between releasing the ego, shedding all want and with it suffering, identity, demand, musts, and need.  The counterweight to this apparent absence is acceptance that one simultaneously is held by and holds the universe which is love.  That love might be called god by some, but it is not a theistic cog or any voice answering or separate or choosing.  Love is what we are flowing out of choice brushing through, into and as us; we are divine love.

The answer is to try to witness love as one walks a naked self, as one answers the choices one encounters.

20160311

I think reality is slipping on me; i.e. reality is not this, not in time.  Time does not exist.  The standard false reality is what is perceived in the now like a flash print photograph thieving attention towards what was or might be.  Fear, fixation, and hope regret the density in distancing from what is not real as if it were real.

This realm of exuberance, cosmic dance beat, the sensation of touching and enjoyment: none of it is real.  The popularity, the nationality, the religion, the tales, the genetics, the act, the birth and ultimately death: none of it is real.

What is real; an absolute stillness beyond time in parceled components in motion, the arrangement is arbitrary.  Identity, being in moments of how, where, the maximum of what is not real is peeled back, that removed is as close as anyone can get to what is real.

We as humans are incapable of perceiving what is real.  All we can do is shed as much as we can of what is not real and attempt to see what is real like a silhouette.

Letters to Luna: Some words never sent...

Luna,

Love and sex hit you in in all these odd jabs, sometimes you just want the sensation, the tactile impact.  Others you are trying to figure out how to be human, how the universe works in something as simple as a touch of fingers against skin.  The process of ratcheting a human machine to be capable of being open to accept or give love before and after meeting a person can be transformative.  The idea of feeling on par or that I had met a commensurate mind of emotive, artistic, and analytical prowess can be stunning, bewildering, and frightening.  I saw my own walls in you.  I ate tears.

I know my experiences however daft my metaphors may be, that was not your experience, but for me; the aperture in the universe nature to it, the art like blades and platelets; I was hurt and growing in ways that were difficult for me to admit, process, or put into words.  It was not falling in love, it was like seeing the DNA of what being human is where love is the ladder and the rungs are all the idiosyncratic malleable moments of existence that connect people in an interdependent web and the natural brand of human I am felt available to reach to touch mutual comprehension in a nascent way.

I gave you my art, a precious personal vile.  It took me a long time to swallow the idea, it wasn’t you I hungered; it was my art, the way you inspired me to make art and be myself.  I made art; I wrote you like this iteration in structure like a meditation, a practice of entering that emotional space, the private prison nature to it, to recover my key, not to get it back from you, but from the portal the way being around you made me feel inside myself to bloom.  I was gruesomely honest and dishonest delving into what it meant to be a human being and feel and hurt and sense a relic idea of another human being who felt like liquid art, clay pliable in her autonomous volition shining like a glint ray of moon light splintering my vision altered on something imaginary.

The border was polluted by experimenting in that spoiled petri dish to address questions in my spirit.  Given what you communicated was best for you: depositions, reminiscence, or testimonies, the case was a buttoned period.  That was hard, it hurt: feeling, analyzing, contemplating; ignoring that fog bank was jettisoning ghosts off the Lusitania.  Day dreams are loquacious cellmates, but that was a stateroom I put myself in not you.

There was a fiber of you so inexplicably real, strung harp-like from temple to toe, plucked vibrating a tone of childhood, adolescence, adulthood dark and light, sensitive, cagey, and perceptive.  I hoped to know her, your pains and quiet victories.  I wanted you to want to let me in and your choice to decline that space let and broke me down.  The image of what I felt like I saw in your core as a human was so vivid made dismissing the etching a haystack of needles appearing obvious of what I had searched and feared I might allow to threaten the regenerative ambrosia oasis of my alone.  To go back to wander the sea grass, I wondered what any of it was…

I wanted to talk to you for one turn of the hourglass as disenchantment to entertain the notion of magic, as if we are all stuffed with magic.  Maybe some naïve Atreyu boy rider in me fighting in vain to believe that magic still exists in this world of pretend, of feeling in the colors of Fantastica of wanting some stitch of the pictures projecting on the spirit-strip that maybe sometimes when you see someone the way I thought we saw each other; it is that jarring.  The magic puffs in tufts of flowers spontaneously sprouting in grain-words and rain-looks.  The magic dares our sanity for acknowledgement to wager our lots of what we claim to know about the world for the redolent scent of that flower that made it through all the concrete sidewalks and dustbowl seasons of our heart’s march.  We see that flower like the ovum of a person; it did not sprout for the looker; it did not bloom to be plucked; it bloomed to be witnessed in that moment by that person shared like the nectar of the goddesses and gods dripping to quench our eternal tongues tasting that syrup of immortality that flitters in the divinity of spirit.  To witness and be witnessed like that is nuclear humanity.

It does things like startles one of you away oyster-like shuttered and the other into a monk of prayers mumbling to the universe to translate what transpired.  One ponders was he to attempt a necklace, the other did I see such a pearl.  One ponders did she hear the ruminations in this mumbling brook of pages, the other why is my shell so tight.

The woman I thought I saw…  I have no idea of what was a mask or what was a shadow in the phase of a moon.  I wanted you to give us a chance...  I spilled.  Attempting to continue to elaborate that vein bled a stale rancid ignominy.  You never deserved my words, not the beauty and not the ugly heaviness.  You never deserved the weight of feeling like you owed a response.  I never deserved my self-assigned anchor of feeling like I had to figure out what I saw.  I never deserved to feel like you broke a piece of my heart; I never even offered, but there it hung jagged loosened quaked.

The universe made me a writer.  The writer’s lens saw you, your walls, pulsing art correctly or incorrectly.  When you pushed me away I felt a mirror image.  It felt like two looking glasses facing each other.  In some ways I saw infinite iterations of your reflection in refractions of my life.  Usually I am the one who walls himself off.  I confronted more of who I was through the prism of what I thought you might have been.  All I saw was an idea; I know that wasn’t real, but what I thought I saw of who you are changed me to grow and I wanted to understand the greater experience.

I wrote the way a man looks for a candle when the electricity fails, desperately flailing for a match.  I wanted my art back.  I wanted to understand my ability to create from that romantic place, to comprehend the context of feeling my fuller human being in my skin the way I realized was possible.  I wanted to see clearly (my art, self, you, the universe, all of it was in the lens.)  I could write about this place intersecting with you seemed to bring me and everything else seemed like a paler diluted poetry as far as the universe.

Was it you as a person; was it the phase I was in; both?  I wanted to know because you and me were not going to continue, but there was an element present, whatever that was, however it got there, which I had never experienced in my romantic calculus.  Tasting that element, that art is possible to pulse like that through me, the absence is a pall ruin to the palate for romantic entrees devoid of that ingredient.

It hurt to not get to say goodbye to you and to never understand what that element was, to feel generic, unilateral like my art never actually touched you; I felt like a receipt.  I guess that is at the root of what I hoped; that my art affected you that it made the star inside you vibrate, that you had something to say like a doe in a clearing vulnerable for a slip of twilight saying something personal before sequester.  Maybe the vibration you felt bore a rare nucleus at the core of your departure, struggling in dual polarity towards the aroma of my art, but more so to the gravity of the garden of your independent alone.  Maybe you tired and that is all it ever was.  Maybe his words felt like cannon fire of expectations you never requested.

Maybe I felt you like an invisible spiritual dancer, the way Sati inspires Shiva to create through her movements.  As if moving through life with that phantom set of hands, is he there to catch as one turns to breathe in vulnerable position?  Is this feminine yearning instinctually repulsive as uttering the word partner?  Balter akimbo to avoid reliance as in a turn a man realizes he is alone on the floor stepping to music he is not certain was ever audible, but in a queer pulse the cosmic drum beats.

By looking at you in the way a human needs to in order to write about a person / time with a person like that I felt like I saw what empowers your art.  I felt like I saw this luminous unforgettable font.  Seeing inside the kiln in you was like the permanent unique kernel of a person, far more unforgettable.  To me it was your art, this power plant to your analytic thoughts, vision for your personal appearance and stature chosen in public and private, it burst out of you, obvious and textured.  Maybe that is creepy, queer, but it is honest in how it made me feel.  How real that is or not I don’t know; perceptions are fickle sirens.

A Bigger Room

Beings have a seed inside of wanting to be: heard, seen, witnessed.  There is a balance of submitting oneself to fallow soil between disgrace and prayer.  There is a humidity of faith, to make drink of the air around us we all attempt with solemnity to the common field beyond the ego knowing the ego is the vessel one must walk into the field.

Occasionally  we reach into a lint gunk pocket of rehash and bitten apple of the universe sort of deal. Life as a forest burns, regrows altered.  You see the genes of dead trees in the leaves of the fresh crop.

We hope that the universe is not blanket random atomic and maybe all these revelations about life being an exercise in perception of what is behind the veil of any given moment is a constant infiniteness that the point of life is to be, to be in, to be of, and there is no trail of earning or redemption, but to be.  There were moments of learning in ticket stubs of where another comes from, who they are, where you feel present, like peeled back.  Elements of life and chosen to peel open to a more naked way of existing of traveling and being.  This is a renewal of faith in that bigger portrait.

Another reading this makes a scalpel of vulnerability open a place in writing, a very core, naked place that maybe the other did not or want to understand but it reminds one of moments of being around the other where you do not think of the other exactly, but you think of like this door open sensed around them that you think they had open too about what life is and at times it is ugly and scary and glowing and beautiful and eternal and encapsulated in the pod of second, but it is somewhere close to the point of what life is and you were drawn to it then and frankly it ceases to about them, but this idea, this place that they help you to feel present in that felt like an awakening about what love is, what life is, and it is like a portal that one knows life is going to keep traveling and one knows logistically that was not and won’t be with the other, nor do you want it to be but they were like a key on one of the big doors in a great big hallway with a series of doors.  Writing to or about them or envisioning that place at times was like trying to focus on where one comes from and how one got to here and what is next.  The whole bit of it; the something more.  This is to attempt to understand what it is to be a human being as an honest food pellet from the universe.  In the end those are the things that matter in life.  One does not expect human relationships engaged to end up in some Cinderella like way; one expects them to decay, to become fertilizer and have seasons, some short yet powerful.

Maybe there is a bigger room that we all have always been in and these doors are just paths of revelation, that peeling back of what reality is.  Maybe another made you feel that way once and you will always appreciate it and seek seeds like that in human relationships.  One does so before them, after and will continue in whatever number of days a body gifts.

When the oil of ego is removed from words, maybe one can see life, love, and this practice of being human to aid rather than detract from a deep place inside few if any have ever witnessed.  Maybe feathered words might feel beautiful losing that crude lacquered weight to do some good in flight rather than only nest in art and books.  Maybe in that weightlessness ghost birds depart.

Love is; Esoerotica 20160217

Love and sex are two forest roads divergent, entwined, like parabolic pathways which ideally overlap.  One soil is deeper depending on how it rained the day or three decades before, building up caked ambrosias and vernaculars of how one discusses human insides.  The caulked window pane places, the epidermal flaking assortments, the bedrooms we leave particles of ourselves, ones we want to return, flee, morn departure in the ache.

We think about photographs of ecstasy in a mental pornography library, catalogs rapt of tea cup servings of areola, thigh stiff, a curve at the rise in a hip socket arching like a slide.  We feel it again in that canyon where sex and love start discussing terms of “What is this?”  “What are we doing here?  When is this something else, that physical gratification merging wood?  When do rivers converge and leave one gasping inside the mouth of a lover’s kiss like the only air tank?  When does a passionate tongue mean that increment of elsewhere, that glade of emotional flowering where we quake peach, lick fuzz, and drip fruits juices from ravishing to indentured?”

Love is that space of unable that allowance of vulnerability where the body becomes a portal awakening a path of questions that demands being addressed.  Love is midnight, a wolf and a human standing in a street, world alive, and inviting the animal into one’s home.  Love is trying to balance embracing the very beast that you know can rip you apart, but chooses not to.  You trust that balance because becoming a lover is to become a reciprocal being.  You are the wolf in their sheets, biting and howling and you feel as powerless as you make them feel in the incisors behind their heart.  Without the threat of loss, the wager risked, there is no love, only one being or both munching.

Love busts, forcing one to digest season, accept the unsettled, and give self-permission to close dissecting what transpired rather than expect the other to participate in closure.  We feel a chunk of humanity, an uncanny morsel identified as native rare and the point of participating in the Circus.  The audience infected with popcorn butter hand in bag to mouth churning until staring at the remnant un-popped kernels forlorn.  There is monotony to ritual, of seeing what is expected, the boxes people fit in, the puff of the kernel, digested, tasted as per usual.  This one didn’t taste that way.  One tries to understand why or how.  It hurts, simply hurts, in the gut pent forest of being a human.

We delve into what is in a given or a series of moments to tap behind the veil, that fantastical second form of being, all the surface cake batter and developing polaroid flapping in between the fingers of it all.  We feel a ghost, a broom sweep, however brief or elongated, an impactful personal connection.  Not always a linear cumulative mass, but the potential a human being shows.  A certain inexplicable way one wishes to be acknowledged, an inkling one did not become insane for having sensed, to not feel like the humanity of the situation got commercialized like a credit card swipe or some wrap-it-up thirty-minute television situational drama flashback way of living.

Characters replaying roles, lines of do not cross, of delectable appetizers and entrees of certain death.  I know I am going to hurt you; I have seen how this plays out in my head, fair warnings to paint the picture before it paints itself.  Monogamy and commitment starvation camps process vampiric thirsts to escape, to extract a self and find bloody oxygen outside of obligation to show up in what the other thinks you are or wants you to be.  Rather be alone, even if lonely than embalmed behind the cornea of the other.

Opening up has a temporal scab nature, figuring out crossroads in a recycled serendipity taste test.  Beading love and seeing a being on a native level, to feel on par, to say, “I felt on par.”  To sit in those words, wear them.  Take the cap off the telescope, see the shrapnel, trauma, and nature; each needs to see the other first before admitting feelings.  Seeing each other the way a subject poses for a sculptor from the tendon out to the skin.  Love is allowing oneself to be witnessed.  The small and deadly poison of reading a post script “I am starting to have feelings for you.” A winless gambit, a tripped explosive, stuck with the bomb when the timer goes off.

Cars collide, hit and run, palm over eye socket, mouth attempting a cell phone.  One sped well out of range. Hope inside a bubble about the way a person makes one feel to simply talk, to feel alive around a specific human being as possible in dual appreciation, to feel on par.  Sections of an internal factory activating, interfacing in contemplation about what love is, not in confines to a specific human but to explore loving the universe through art in varied mediums and try to drink that daring cup of being present and stare the bigness and fullness of what maybe life is.

Inspire one to the audacity to whisper the word safe.  Oozed and melted like a molted crab out of the water unsure why one even tried natural language.  Repackaging and hardening a shell.  Reputations to maintain and stories of identity we tell ourselves.  Cracking that inch of dawn and balancing the submission to a departure in a confounding pang.

Fear of ever attempting love again, to open the room.  Sex is direct and easy.  Pre-packaged intimacy illusion, peaceful penis, vagina, skin, lovely consensual play, but the masks, the galleries of masks we build…  We begin to believe love requires delusions that are only feasible in temporal mutable seasons; permanence is a subjective cog in clockwork hearts subject to rust.

We go down a path of barricading love, not because of pain or hurt, but because love itself becomes an illusion.  The biological opiates and tricks we engage of picking any specific person are arbitrary and circumstantial; the acrobatics to perpetuate distortions of monogamy after such summersaults even more so and often poisonous to true growth if done with blinders.  If that spirit felt was figment, a distortion of whimsy then maybe life is that quotidian and plastic and maybe life is just brain circuits firing images on a screen, this whole realm of spiritual connection of greater universe atheist bones war with the what-is-in-the-marrow.  Love becomes leukemia in such ways.

Engaging in the entire universe becomes the only mathematical solution, because if this was created out of nothingness, a platter of tangible reality to craft art or the spark of intimacy or sex or life and that was such light graphite to lift off the page, then this Jedi-monastic distancing artistic meditative pool may be all there is, the closest truth.  Even sex giving that orgasmic act to another human being, seeing feminine shiver quake vibrating one after the other or that halo-like reverberating orgasm of releasing manhood, if that doesn’t go anywhere, meaning if there is no potential keyed locket to an infiniteness of the universe beyond that available in certain parting cloud rainbow like sparked cataclysmic intersections given rare chemistry and physics, like some biological combination humanity keeps attempting and failing and succeeding even on some base level of the random hookup to peek behind the curtain of holy shit what the hell is this, my god I must tongue new language…then what?  What point is there, just the animalistic detour, however fun and hedonistic, joyously entertaining?  Eventually the crestfallen nature of endorphins whets the stones that nests inside us all to inquire before the vibration’s bell curve flat-lines.

We meet people; we approach.  On eclipse occasion we feel that infinite window open inside our vertex, and we question, “What just happened?  Was that something more, not was that person something more, but the whole deal the pathway, the opening the room that happened in that combination in that moment is what we sense through that corridor the something more?”  We process the iterations believing and doubting and realizing the interconnected nature of all reality if we are lucky enough to muster faith in such a courageous perception.

People are conduits, not destinations.  There are no musts, no mandatories.  Sex and love, the whole bath is a numbing agent to specificity for the ecstasy of universality, but for brief windows we are challenged to see the entire universe through a specific human in a seasonal light that the stars, fate, whatever you want to call it set into one’s path not because of a confinement or an encapsulation in who the other presents, but the portal, the thoroughfare, the flowing river to the sky aspect, the wanting to show the other the rainbow bridge in one’s self on par to offer at least some season of what you were put here to create as an artist, provide, allow the other to be and create, and possibly love as a divine being, maybe to ride each other in that violet indigo stellar rain for a painted inhalation and exhalation if mutually elected or maybe love and sex are nothing.

Maybe love was for a prism of colors hazed in liquid sunshine ephemeral flittering between a space of shifting clouds soaked in the reactive sweat of bodies in proximity.  Maybe love and sex were nothing but mist.  The lucidity maddening, not the pane of feelings, but the potential, how clear one thought one saw a human.  One feels that audacious pin prick, where whoever they are, whatever this was strikes with native amperage that jolts veins in a way one struggles to dissipate.  You feel foolish and stupid, childish, and naïve like a son looking up to the black sparkling canopy with his father and the elder saying, “No son they are just stars.  We are just skin and bones.  There is nothing more than this.”

It makes one want to give up natural language to explore and attempt to discuss that honeycomb quagmire of what that does to insides, the struggle to dismiss, like trying to cease the vibration in a sun.  The light has to starve itself out into a cold sterile place.  Drinking what being human is and that last phantasmal coffee taste of release a bit bitter, but savory long on the tongue and ultimately swallowed.

Koch Watch

Charles and David Koch are the ninth and tenth wealthiest humans on the planet at around forty billion dollars each. Together they are in the Bill Gates category.  They have invested probably a hundred million dollars in conservative causes that seek to lower taxes on the wealthy and subvert climate change.  Using rough math one hundred million would be .13% of their wealth.  So this would be like ten percent of a penny on each dollar.

What do they own and do?  Koch Industries is a private global conglomerate which some estimate at over $120 billion in revenue.  They own companies that affect forests, waters, land use, mining, and farming.  Koch has a pipeline company, a chemical group, agriculture group, minerals, and cattle company.  Restrictions on carbon emissions, changes to the human diet away from factory farming, shifts to renewable energy away from fossil fuels would cost the Koch’s billions.

These Koch’s have funded this vested interest to subvert Congress, the Supreme Court, and the President of the United States and the fifty countries they operate in to continue to scavenge the planet as quickly and cheaply as possible.

We can seek to overthrow Citizen’s United to subvert their political influence.  We can seek to use less fossil fuel energy and eat less factory farmed animals.  If we build a house demand that Georgia Pacific lumber and plywood not be used or Stainmaster carpet.  We can also be more selective with how we wipe our asses for instance avoiding Quilted Northern or Angel Soft.  Do not buy Brawney paper towels or Dixie paper cups.  We can also vote for representation against their agenda and the candidates who take their money.

Notice there is only one major Presidential candidate who has never accepted donations from the Koch’s.  Because of Citizens United the one the books donations are a pittance compared to what outside groups funded by the Koch’s can do.

Google Deep Mind defeats Go Player Lee Sedol 20150309

The productive arc of artificial intelligence cannibalizing an exponential portion of the human workforce is a crucible of our extinction.  The efficacies created as goods and services will be less expensive to deliver to market as Moore’s Law’s continues.  However if the profit is retained by owners and labor endures systematic disenfranchisement from the labor force through vast expanses of unemployment which continues to whittle consumer spending the global economy will suffer depression.  This is vastly evident in the low end of the labor force now and will creep up as the lie of consumerist capitalism prevails as a given to prioritize market health over economic health.

Maybe a computer beating a chess or Go champion seems unrelated or trivial, it isn’t.  It is a symbolic link in a chain of variable computations, rules of the lines between the efficiencies of technology sprouted during WWII accelerating supply to meet growing demands then and what we will choose as a planet in the coming years.  We are a globe reaching a breaking point probably around 2025 due to the aging of those born after WWII.  Moore’s Law is an inevitability, the power of computers traveling that growth curve is a good and necessary tool of empowerment to meet the tsunami of demand that is coming for what the global population will be during that likely global depression.  However it is the act of empathy that will determine our fate, how, when, and with whom resources and the power of those technological assets are shared and ultimately owned.
