20160624 - Brexit

An imperialistic island empire rooted in the exploitation of the planet has elected to devolve to fortify nationalism and xenophobic misunderstandings of economics.  Brexit voters blame those who do not physically or culturally espouse one’s egotistic identification versus swallowing lowest common denominator labor and natural resource extraction funneling funds into the global banking system as the generational progeny of British imperialism. 

The United Kingdom convinced itself that it contributed more than it gained by being part of the European Union.  This decision hatches an egg of blindness spawned in the ills of a modern global economy and generational migration of the toxic byproducts of imperialistic harvesting of natural resources and cheap labor to meet the needs of a kingdom and not wanting to allow the children of those lands access to what is deemed prohibited and therein what it means to be British. 

The arrogance of any country defining its interest behind walls of insulation eschewing interconnection in favor of aloof superiority will find reckoning in a fractured mirror.  Humanity can only see itself.  Judgment of refuges, confusion in desperation, denial of science and mathematics in favor of imperiling one’s sustainability is an atavistic insanity gargling on the blood of the world’s poorest funded by the middle and enriching the powerful.  The exception being when the world’s interconnection meets a breaking point of overpopulation and environment unsustainability the perch of the haughty teeters to plummet into the pit of the toiling masses.  The system the world knows fractures into an irrecoverable entropy. 

There is a reason the global financial markets are reacting as such and it is that the scent of entropy is smelled by the heard.  We are machines consuming order and outputting entropy.  When we do not see our interconnection we threaten our survival as a species.  The saddest element is the mirror.  Humanity falls for supply side economic talking points instead of reviewing the mathematics.  We are ratcheted by how some thing or toupee-candidate makes us feel rather than the stoic science and balancing equation of humanity approaching a self-induced foot into a bottomless canyon.     

Wealth, education, and secular correlate with low birth rate.  Water is our bottle neck.  Thinking ones island shores protect a people from the ramifications of our shrinking tiny planet is our extinction staring back at us.
